Starting as soon as possible, we have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to support the EGM Insurance Transformation. You will be responsible for administrative support and coordination for the Executive Manager.
The Executive Assistant will be required to develop and build strong relationships within the immediate team and across the broader IAG business. You will be well organised, flexible, thorough and self-motivating and have the ability to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficient and proactive diary management including informing the Executive General Manager of their schedule on a daily basis and preparing materials prior to meetings.
- Manage travel arrangements.
- Operate and maintain a confidential and organised filing system.
- Screen, receive and direct telephone calls where appropriate.
- Distribute reading material as directed and follow up any responses / replies prior to the due date.
- Process invoices, credit card statements and expenses.
- Establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidentiality.
- Supporting the Executive General Manager and their leadership teams in embedding operational processes and systems.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience 3-4 years + in an administrative and/or business support-based role is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Previous experience with diary and travel management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
- Ability to quickly build meaningful rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- External stakeholder engagement including the development of beneficial business relationships with c-suite executives and their support person is desirable but not essential.
