Coloplast has an exciting opportunity for a Compensation Analyst to join our growing team!

 

As a Compensation Analyst, you will be a key strategic partner, providing outstanding service to help attract and retain the right talent to build teams that will achieve business goals. In this position, you will design, develop, and implement competitive compensation programs for the North America business while maintaining compliance.  We are looking for someone who can thrive in ambiguity, adapt quickly to a changing environment, bring innovative ideas and solutions, and a passion for bringing people insights to the business.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Provide outstanding support to key partners.
  • Design, develop, implement, and administer compensation programs for the North America businesses to ensure they are compliant, competitive, cost effective, and align with company philosophy and support business objectives.
  • Lead compensation processes including annual merit review and short-term incentive bonus program.
  • Manage participation in area and industry specific compensation surveys to stay current with external trends that will attract, retain, and motivate the talent needed to drive our business priorities.
  • Conduct job analysis to determine appropriate salary and grade level according to compensation guidelines and policies for all new and existing roles.
  • Work closely with the Corporate Compensation & Benefits team in designing compensation structures for global alignment.
  • Ensure compensation plans meet regulatory compliance and governance/audit requirements; consult with legal resources and stay informed of developing legislation and its potential impact.
  • Lead special compensation projects as requested from conception to implementation.
  • Advise on relocation package practices, including the management of inpatriate assignments, ensuring all aspects of the contract are implemented correctly. Works with payroll and outside resources on US taxation.
  • Manages external management company to ensure adequate expenses are processed and reimbursed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in business, finance, human resources or another related field
  • 3-5 years experience in compensation
  • Broad understanding of compensation theories, techniques, practices, and applicable laws
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships, maintain confidentiality, effectively communicate, consult, and collaborate with key partners.
  • Ability to deliver excellent service and results with quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
  • Solutions oriented and organized with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
  • Strong equity plan experience and experience running year-end analysis.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors.
