The Department:
The newly created Production Management team will serve as one centralized sub-function of the Invesco Fund Financial Reporting team that performs and facilitates the assembly, review, and approval of the shareholder reports for all North American products.
Your Role:
The Financial Reporting Production Management Analyst is responsible for the facilitation and coordination of the end-to-end shareholder reporting process for all North American products. Primary responsibilities include: production planning, managing of timelines, and tracking of end-to-end process; software administration and upload of select content to financial reporting system; content and data provision from various internal teams; ownership of non-financial pages of the report, including review and comment resolution, and project management associated with the development and production of the Semi-Annual and Annual Reports to Shareholders. The analyst will serve as communications specialist (including writing and editing, as necessary); manage numerous projects simultaneously to appropriate specifications and deadlines as assigned by manager; develop communication objectives and create strategies to complete projects in a manner consistent with Invesco’s mission and core principles.
You will be responsible for:
- Producing the non-financial pages of the shareholder reports for all open- and closed-end retail funds, VI funds, Exchange-Traded funds and Institutional and Private funds across all of North America.
- Tracking the end-to-end production process to ensure cycles stay on track and deadlines are met.
- Assisting with initial cycle pre-planning activities including creating and maintaining production calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing agendas.
- Collaborating and communicating with internal and external business partners on upcoming deliverables and deadlines to ensure accurate and timely content. Monitor content and proofread for accuracy of materials before they are published.
- Oversight of layout, production, and system updates for assigned fund projects.
- Coordination of non-financial data for loads to ArcReporting system.
- Addressing comments received on the MDFP or MRFP sections – comments coming from internal and external legal, Performance Measurement and Risk “(PMAR”), Portfolio Managers or other internal teams, and Financial Reporting accountants.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive practices with respect to shareholder communications. Ensure all materials are consistent in tone and design with Invesco brand standards and style.
- Manage and develop client relationships; serve as a communications consultant in offering value-added solutions to meet client needs.
- Administration activities in ArcReporting, such as user set-ups, new fund set-ups, maintaining static fund information criteria, and other special assignments, as needed
The experience you bring:
Two to three years of work experience on a production management team environment serving as communication specialist, financial writer, and content data owner of shareholder or marketing reporting preferably in the mutual fund industry. Marketing materials design and brand knowledge a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while providing high level of customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading.
Ability to prioritize, set and meet deadlines, and manage one’s own time.
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals including clients and vendors.
Overall understanding of Windows programs and above average software skills
Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, marketing, journalism or English; work experience considered.
