About the role:
The Enterprise Document Delivery team is seeking a Software Engineer who will participate in the entire system development lifecycle of applications related to document processing, printing, electronic and postal delivery for the bank. The team supports high volume statement applications residing on different platforms (Linux, Windows, and mainframe). The position will work with various Lines of Business across the organization to understand their requirements and architecture to design and develop the required solution. The candidate should have a strong knowledge SDLC process as well as Agile experience, and ensure that all phases of our development are 100% Wells Fargo Technology SDLC compliant. This position requires someone that can be flexible, wants to be part of a dynamic team, and is able to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
of the role include the following:
Support all aspects of application development; requirement discussion, architecture, design, development, maintenance, testing, debugging, implementation and supporting the applications for all environments as part of the Document Delivery Technology team.
Participate in creating project, application, architecture, functional/technical design, and support documentation
APIs/Microservices development for Print Delivery applications and integration with other tools functionalities
Externalizing API and messaging integration (gateway) with consistent and user-friendly client experience
Source control, branching, build and release management
Application peer code reviews
Assume responsibility and work to resolve production issues as level 1/2 support
Participate in BCP / Disaster Recovery exercises
Night and weekend support for code releases
Deploy code across multiple environments from test to production using Harvest or Udeploy
Maintain and create Autosys scheduling for application batch jobs
Develop standard for best practice and maintain system documentation
Candidate should be proficient enough to take end to end ownership of assigned tasks

Market Skills and Certifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years of application development and implementation experience
6+ year of application development experience in Java, Spring, Hibernate and Angular
Good knowledge of UNIX, Shell Scripting, Perl, Python. Have knowledge on upgrading scripts/applications from old version to latest versions in Perl and python
Good hands on development experience with shell scripting including Bash and kOrn
6+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
Have exposure in applying patches to Unix/Linux platform
Have experience in using GIt, Jenkins and Udeploy or similar tools for build and deployment process
Good knowledge on Problem management or change management applications like ServiceNow or JIRA
3+ years of Object Oriented Design (OOD) experience
3+ years of RESTful or SOAP Web Services experience – RQO0005149
Knowledge of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS) – RQO0007104
Good experience in Relational Database

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Good knowledge on release management and deployment process
Good experience in UI development using SASS (Syntactically Awesome Style Sheets) and Responsive Design
