In this role you will manage and oversee the Underground Storage Integrity Program for all of GTM’s well assets to ensure risks are confidently understood and mitigated, loss of primary containment is prevented, and long-term sustainability of storage assets is achieved.
Here’s what you will do:

Deploy our Core Work Processes (PDCA) to drive the performance and continuous Improvement of the Storage Program.

Provide leadership and advocacy for the integrity and risk management of Underground Storage across GTM.

Serve as an active member of the Asset Integrity LT, providing technical advice across AI and ensuring Storage Integrity group effectiveness and development.
-
Ensure the Storage Integrity Management Program is developed and in place to ensure risks to storage assets are well understood and programs are in place to ensure their effective detection/testing and mitigation to enable safe, reliable, efficient, environmentally responsible, and IMS compliant SI operations.

Ensure all integrity concerns are promptly communicated and well understood across the AI organization including the need for any immediate action and/or changes to the budget to support inspections or mitigation as necessary.

Ensure continuous improvement across the Storage Integrity organization and oversee the incorporation of lessons learned into risk assessments and the SI program when applicable.

Establish and maintain Storage Integrity as a Technical Authority (Center of Expertise/Competency Center), ensuring technical competency and capacity are in place to support the work of the program.

Oversee the development and use of standards, procedures, and processes to ensure consistent understanding & execution across Storage Integrity.

Oversee the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies to manage GTM Storage Integrity risks, ensuring they are communicated and understood across the organization.

Establish Underground Storage risk assessment models and ensure that performance and trend data are deliberately used to assess GTM Underground Storage asset integrity risks.

Develop inspection and testing plans to support the Underground Storage program including physical well work, integrity testing, well testing, and integrity logging for GTM Underground Assets.

Oversee the Storage Integrity systemic assurance process to support Asset Integrity IMS QA element and maintain appropriate controls to deliver the GTM Storage Integrity Program consistently and effectively.

Oversee GTM Underground Storage field integrity and gas inventories, ensuring proofs of gas inventories to internal and external stakeholders are delivered, while monitoring field deliverability and performance.

Ensure the Storage Integrity program is in compliance with all laws, regulations, corporate policies and expectations, and interpreted consistently across GTM.

Develop and lead the team in the accomplishment of the goals of the Storage group.

Assign and prioritize work to/for your Direct Reports.

Who you are:

You have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
-
15+ years minimum of progressively responsible engineering/supervisory experience.
-
Strong working knowledge of pipeline systems – technical, operational and regulatory.

Experience in networking with Company leadership and able to influence organizational behavior.
-
Experience interfacing with Regulators on behalf of the Company (PHMSA, NEB, etc.)

Business understanding, strong verbal/written communications, leadership skills, and problem solving.

A valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
