You will be responsible for providing onsite response and services to ensure safe and efficient maintenance and operations at Athabasca Region facilities, including all aspects of operations, operating agreements, business development and expansion of pipeline operations. What You Will Do:
- Perform batch pigging on Line 19, and Line 75.
- Collect, Tag, and Distribute Tank and Composite Samples.
- Perform laboratory analysis of samples including BS&W, Density, and Viscosity.
- Perform tank dewatering and other tank maintenance as required.
- Ensure all station facilities appearance and grounds within area of responsibility are maintained to high standard in a safe, clean and orderly fashion. This will include yard maintenance activities including snow clearing, mowing and painting.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance including tank gauging and inspections, fire and safety checks, leak detection, safe tank entry, etc.
- Maintaining professional relationships with customers both external and internal.
- Regularly communicate with other departments to ensure operational issues are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
Who You Are:
- 2 Years Post-Secondary Education, or related Technical Certification(s).
- Experience in Heavy-Industrial Environment, Pipeline and/or Tank Farm is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Electronic Maintenance Management system experience an asset.
- Local to Fort McMurray.
Working Conditions:
- Based out of Athabasca Terminal, but support of our satellite facilities may be expected as competency increases.
- Day and Night shift work on a 7 days/nights on, 7 off.
- Field work 70%, Laboratory 10%, Office duties 20%.
