Verisign enables the security, stability, and resiliency of key internet infrastructure and services, including providing root zone maintainer services, operating two of the 13 global internet root servers, and providing registration services and authoritative resolution for the .com and .net top-level domains, which support the majority of global e-commerce.
The Operations Analyst V works in the IT Service Delivery team and is responsible for coordinating and facilitating initiatives/projects driven by the Corporate Information Services (CIS) organization. This is a hands-on role that requires collaboration and a proactive personality to help develop team efficiencies, coordinate, and lead special initiatives and assignments, assisting with scheduling, coordination and tracking actions based on analytical data gathering and analysis to meet timelines.
The Operations Analyst V works closely with the various CIS teams and Stakeholders, effectively running reports, analyzing technical data and presents information as a trusted partner to meet strategic goals. Responsible for designing and implementing improved processes to fulfill organizational needs by developing and managing to KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- As a working member of the CIS Operations Analysis team, provides support and assists with technical data reporting and analysis for Asset Management and IT Service Delivery activities for internal Verisign initiatives as they arise.
- Implements and improves existing processes based on proactive approaches to resolve recurring operational and technical challenges with a focus on Corporate Information Services (CIS) project initiatives and service.
- Works with CIS teams and company-wide stakeholders to effectively understand, document, prioritize, analyze, and execute tasks against approved plan and/or approach.
- Creates KPIs, collects data, evaluates tickets and improves metrics in order to determine trends, potential remediations and escalation paths.
- Monitors for user issue trends and offers recommendations for improved team performance as well as technical improvements to stabilize the IT Service Delivery lifecycle.
- Provides data analysis support to the CIS teams using best practices aligned with company-wide, organizational, and departmental goals.
- Assists with special projects as they arise.

Education
4 Year / Bachelors Degree -Computer Science, Business Administration or related technical field or equivalent work experience. Required
Relevant Experience
10 years of related experience in IT Service Delivery and/or Technology Asset Management .Preferred
