Manager, Targeted Marketing Campaigns

Work Location:

Charlotte, NC (hybrid), or Fully Remote. To protect the health and safety of our employees, our offices are closed until mid-September 2021. When our offices reopen, the organization will be moving to a hybrid work model.

How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:

This Targeted Marketing Campaign Manager role will lead the team that is responsible for strategic design and development of key targeted marketing campaigns to help drive sales through product and non-product campaigns. This position has the responsibility to develop the strategic marketing calendar and ensure the marketing campaigns are developed on time and best practices to meet business goals.

 

The ideal candidate has had history building and delivering multi-channel campaigns, while being able to think strategically understanding business needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and managerial guidance to deliver campaigns on time and with high quality and identify future opportunities to continuously improve to become more effective.
  • Provide direction and guidance on project management, marketing tactics and creative direction, audience, and measurements of success.
  • Collaborate with internal and agency partners to optimize marketing campaigns; that align to brand standards and leverage best practices
  • Communicate effectively to their direct reports, marketing team, distribution partners, and external vendors to implement projects on time and effectively.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements across the planning and campaign development process.
  • Manage a team of project managers responsible for product and brand campaigns targeted at financial professionals and clients
  • Work closely with Targeted Marketing Execution Manager to ensure alignment on strategy, capacity, and performance.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • History of success leading projects and proving measurable impact to the business.
  • Able to build strong partnerships and operate effectively in a highly matrix environment.
  • 8+ years of Marketing experience
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Office products preferred
  • Strong understanding of Marketing Automation tools
  • Ability to work within CRM and data analysis tools
  • Effective collaboration skills and ability to influence across the organization
  • Able to coach and provide feedback to team members’ development and performance
  • Ability to think strategically and apply creative problem-solving skills to build tactical plans
  • Competencies: Focuses on Customers, Produces Results, Demonstrates Technical & Functional Expertise, Communicates Effectively
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Must currently hold FINRA SIE, Series 6 or 7, or the ability to obtain.
