Role Responsibilities

Performance Tuning of Database queries and PL/SQL procedures

In-depth understanding of Oracle Cache Fusion and fine tuning global cache and enqueues to improve RAC performance
-
Proactive monitoring of database performance and Fine Tuning related database parameters
-
Troubleshooting complex distributed Transactions issues and enhance timely availability of data to downstream applications
-
Performing proactive capacity planning and reporting
-
Automation skills in Ansible, Python, Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, etc.
-
Migration of data across databases using expdp and impdp. (EXPORT Datapump and IMPORT Datapump)
-
User Administration and security management
-
Maintenance of database like rebuilding indexes, analyzing of tables, segment advisor
-
Troubleshooting the issues related to RMAN backups
-
Troubleshooting the performance issues related to database and queries
-
Troubleshooting the issues related to RAC and DR
-
Change and incident management
Mandatory Requirements :
-
12+ years of Oracle DBA experience managing databases on Linux/AIX/Solaris
-
Oracle 11g/12C Database Administration
-
Oracle RAC/Onenode RAC (Real Application Cluster)
-
Oracle OEM 12C (Oracle Enterprise Manager)
-
Oracle DataGuard
-
ASM/ACFS (Automatic Storage Management/ASM Cluster Filesystem)
-
Good troubleshooting skills
-
RMAN/Tape backups (Recovery Manager)
-
Experience in Database Migrations, Patching
-
Database tuning and Performance analysis skills
-
Automations using Scripting
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
-
Twelve+ years of data management experience
-
Experience working with data entry devices and databases
