Business Systems Analyst
We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment with responsibilities that include proven analytical skills focused on analyzing business problems with automated systems and providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
You will
- Work in a small team on cutting edge cloud service integration projects
- Attend meetings with technical product manager and business team and provide system solutions to business problems
- Document your design of the solution and work with development team to implement and test the programs
- Manage application development and release cycle
- Support for production issues and work with development to fix program bugs.
Get Inspired by the Work You’ll Do
- Analyze moderately complex business problems and processes
- Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, documenting and developing systems and procedures that meet user requirements
- Configure system settings and options; plan and execute acceptance testing; and create specifications for systems
- Design details of automated systems
- Collaborate with others in our Business Operations group and IT Development Group on system development
- May act as a lead on cross-functional projects to address business or system issues
Your passion is sparked by:
- Bachelor Degree in computer science related major
- Medium to large IT system design experience
- Working knowledge of a particular technology field or business plus proven experience working on problems of moderate scope
- Solid business communication and document writing skills plus demonstrated good judgment in defining procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Query and Data Analytics skills and experience on job related projects
- Ability to work with offshore teams on flexible hours
- Fluent in English and Chinese is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL (Sybase/MySQL), Java, REST API, Azure/AWS/GCP considered an asset. Experience in Power BI and ability to create your own Power BI report is a plus
