Reporting Specialist

The Role
As a Reporting Specialist, you will design and lead the build of robust, timely and consistent reporting that meets the needs of the business. You’ll be consulting within the Pricing Integrity team in the design and implementation process, ensuring adherence with data privacy, record-keeping, compliance and data quality practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Take a senior role in the team, supporting junior colleagues to assist team cohesion and engagement to effectively deliver to the project objectives
- Design and lead the build of robust, timely & consistent reporting that meets the needs of the business
- Ensure all reporting provided to the project is accurate, consistent with both source systems & broader knowledge of the project status
- Generate insights using the reporting information that support improved project outcomes
- Provide clear, audience appropriate responses to reporting related queries
- Continuously improve the quality and breadth of reporting available based on feedback from the project and emerging experience
- Review reporting packs for accuracy, consistency and readability
- Appropriately document and annotate outputs to enable transparency and auditability
- Build and document testing processes to ensure accuracy and robustness of data processing
- Consult stakeholders within the Pricing Integrity Team in the design and implementation process
- Ensure data governance requirements are met
- Ensure successful delivery against project timelines
- Support more junior analysts in team, including training junior colleagues as required
- Assist with the prioritisation of tasks within the team, resourcing assignments and ensuring deadlines are met
Skills & Experience
- Actuarial, Data Analytics or similar background with 7+ years of experience, including in remediation reporting & general insurance
- Advanced knowledge of SAS, R and SQL
- Proficiency in Tableau
- Strong technical/analytical skills
- Experience manipulating large datasets
- Adherence to compliance obligations
- Expert problem solver
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity
- Tertiary qualification/s in business, finance, risk, mathematics, statistics or actuarial related fields
