Reporting Analyst

The Role
As a Reporting Analyst, you will assist in the provision of robust, timely and consistent reporting that meets the needs of the business. You’ll help to generate insights using the reporting information that supports improved project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work effectively with the team to deliver to the project objectives
- Contribute to the build of robust, timely & consistent reporting that meets the needs of the business
- Ensure all reporting produced is accurate, consistent with both source systems & broader knowledge of the project status
- Help to generate insights using the reporting information that support improved project outcomes
- Help to provide clear, audience appropriate responses to reporting related queries
- Help to identify and take opportunities to improve the quality of reporting available
- Ensure data is appropriately aggregated from various sources
- Appropriately document and annotate outputs to enable transparency and auditability
- Assist with the building and documenting of testing processes to ensure accuracy and robustness of data processing
- Ensure adherence with data privacy, record-keeping, compliance and data quality practices required in the insurance industry
- Ensure data governance requirements are met
- Ensure successful delivery against project timelines
Skills & Experience
- Actuarial, Data Analytics or similar background with at least 3 years of experience
- Remediation reporting experience is preferred, though not essential
- Advanced knowledge of SAS, R and SQL
- Proficiency in Tableau
- Strong technical/analytical skills
- Experience manipulating large datasets
- Adherence to compliance obligations
- Expert problem solver
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity
- Tertiary qualification/s in business, finance, risk, mathematics, statistics or actuarial related fields
