Liability Claims Consultant

The Role

 

We’re currently recruiting for a number of Liability Claim Consultants to manage personal injury and property damage claims under a broad variety of insurance products. This entails managing claims from lodgement through to completion, ensuring an optimum and efficient service to customers, maximising opportunities to ensure claims are managed to meet our customer and financial demands within expected delivery timeframes.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver exceptional service to customers
  • Process claims in an efficient solution focussed manner whilst adhering to financial/reserving principles
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Support the achievement of IAG’s objective of being a leader in the intermediated insurance industry

Skills & Experience

 

  • General insurance claims experience
  • Insurance policy analysis experience
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to manage service providers
  • Experience in legal & regulatory environments
  • Can manage high volumes of work activities with low error rates
