Director Pricing

What we need:

 

Mohawk is looking for The Director of Pricing which is a key leadership role that works cross functionally with partners in manufacturing, finance, product management, and sales to ensure the accurate and timely maintenance and management of pricing across Mohawk Industries multiple business lines.  Leveraging the Pricing Team’s systems and analytical capabilities, the Sr. Director of Pricing also works collaboratively with Product Management to establish and test pricing strategies to drive market share growth and margin expansion for the business.

We have a lot of channels we use to reach our customers and consumers in the digital space in order to drive engagement and revenue! This position will be responsible for digital content and paid strategy across our social media and email channels, employee advocacy efforts and influencer partnerships for Mohawk’s powerful residential brands.

 

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Works cross collaboratively with Product Management, Finance, and Sales in the development of pricing strategies
  • Owns the testing and execution of pricing strategies
  • Drive the strategic direction of pricing systems and processes
  • Drives implementation of customer price registration
  • Leads the pricing strategy team in the development of analysis and reporting that drives transparency into pricing execution, trends, and opportunities
  • Owns the execution and coordination of price changes/updates across the enterprise
  • Establishes leadership reporting and visibility into pricing relates issues and activities and drive actions across the organization to protect and expand margin.

 

What you have:

 

  • Minimum of five years of supplier or retail experience
  • Experience with the development of pricing strategies and new product introductions
  • Experience working with direct sales teams.
  • Experience with analytical tools (e.g. Tableau, SPSS)
  • Experience/understanding working with relational databases
  • Manufacturing or factory experience a plus
  • Must be a self-starter that is comfortable managing day to day task with little direction.
  • Able to quickly develop and build relationships internally and externally.
  • Able to perform multi-tasks in an environment that can/will involve stress and pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as a relationship builder (internal and external)
  • Highly efficient with Microsoft computer programs (excel, access, work, PowerPoint, google docs, google drive, etc.)

 

What you’re good at:

 

  • Product pricing and program pricing experience in a retail product environment
  • Systems experience with big data analytical tools
  • Ability to lead and develop a diverse staff
