The Military & Military Spouse Intern in Mortgage Lending Operations will:
- Provides daily administrative and clerical assistance to the department in the areas of loans, deposits and account servicing.
- Provides excellent customer service and represents the bank in a professional and responsible manner.
- Adheres to compliance, security, state and Federal regulations, bank policies, procedures and goals.
- Aids Officers in collecting and analyzing financial and related data.
- Assists in preparing loan package and coordinates submission to the Centralized Loan Center for underwriting and document preparation.
- May accompany Officers on customer calls and interviews to obtain an understanding of the business relationship/loan request as a means to providing assistance to the Officer in developing strategies to most effectively meet the needs of the customer.
- Provides research on loan and deposit accounts as needed. Opens new accounts and cross-sells bank products and services.
- Other duties as assigned.
We want someone who has:
- Candidate must be a Veteran, National Guard or Reserves member, or military spouse
- College degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred
- Working knowledge of various word processing and spreadsheet software
- Must have excellent customer service and communications skills
- Ability to work with relationship managers and clients as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and represents the bank in a professional and responsible manner
- Adhere to compliance, security, state and Federal regulations, bank policies, procedures and goals
- Aid Mortgage Officers in collecting and analyzing financial and related data.
