ESG & Sustainability Specialist, PAN-EMEA Research & StrategyG & Sustainability Specialist, Pan-EMEA RESGES
Your tasks:
- Devising a programme of sustainability/ESG-specific thought leadership and insight across both EMEA and the UK, and working with the wider Research team to execute this
- Engaging with global sustainability research teams and programmes, as well as promoting global research reports to EMEA and UK internal and external audiences
- Helping to ensure sustainability and ESG issues are embedded in more general research outputs where appropriate
- Liaising with and connecting stakeholders across JLL, to understand market priorities and the wider context; establishing subject matter expert networks as appropriate
- Working closely with sustainability specialists to support commercial sustainability and ESG product development
- Supporting and participating in client presentations and pitching
- Keep up to date with developments in the sustainability & ESG sphere, for example government policy and occupier and investor actions and intentions
- Improving knowledge and awareness of sustainability & ESG issues in Research and the wider business, including through formal training and dissemination of research findings
Your skills:
- Proven track record in property research or ESG/sustainability research
- A keen interest in ESG/sustainability issues in the real estate sector and in the economy more generally
- An ability to work effectively on your own with guidance
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work in a matrix organisation
- Ability to network effectively with a wide range of stakeholders within JLL, including board level directors
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident presenter and public speaker
- Good skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word and a willingness to learn other software programmes if necessary – for example basic GIS
- Interest and experience in using data visualisation packages such as Power BI or Tableau is desirable
