Role Purpose
This position will be responsible for supporting the IFM team with the A to Z delivery of new space across the Client’s Corporate Real Estate (CRE portfolio, ranging from expansion of existing offices to delivery of fully fitted out offices in new locations. (Headcount from 20 to 4000). IFM Delivery on Day One should be the same as every day after- meaning we get things done for the launch of the building.
What this job involves
- Supporting with the management through to successful delivery of all IFM launches
- Follow the six stage process and integrated delivery model for all launches, supporting project delivery from Initiate (Stage 2) to Close (Stage 6).
- With the Regional Facility Managers ensure all launches are delivered to the high expectations of the local team.
- Provide tools for Launch operational teams to be constantly be identifying and managing risks, communicating and reporting issues, health status and action plan across all elements of the project.
- Adapt, consolidate and continuously improve the Master Launch Plans for consistent use, develop new tools with Business Intelligence team to automate and track adherence to these plans.
- Educate the Facilities Managers and Regional Facilities Manager teams (and other stakeholders e.g. Program Managers) in the use and mandatory completion requirements of the Master Launch Plans
- Audit the implementation of launch plans, spending time with launch teams and interrogate progress towards successful launches.
- Take the lead role in discussions across the GREF (Global Real Estate and Facilities) platform for greater alignment and consistency with Design and Construction, Transactions teams as an example.

- Degree level qualification, and or strong capability and evidence of being in a similar role.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or FM Operational role, to include some experience regarding fit outs of corporate offices, ideally gained in an international context
- Critical Competencies for Success:
- Be comfortable operating at a tactical and operational level.
- Be able to simultaneously act as a program manager, internal CRE ambassador, educator, analyst, and solutions architect on a number of different projects.
- Have a bias for action whilst working within a rigid governance structure.
- Be able to work within an entrepreneurial culture delivering solutions, providing leadership and communication but not afraid to dive into details.
- Be passionate about successfully delivering projects under their responsibility.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of Project Management with a financial focus.
