What we’re looking for:
The Enterprise Architect is a strategic advisory presales role focused on account development. In this role, you act as a customer advocate who can successfully gather and understand our business challenges; then define the roadmap that best influences Citrix products and services to deliver business value.
Position Summary:
As the Enterprise Architects at Citrix, you use your experiences of real-world customer transformation projects to add specialist expertise to the presales process. Emphasis for this role is on our largest and most strategic accounts, allowing Citrix to provide a greater level of account development and opportunity management. As well as core focus on being able to articulate how Citrix can accelerate transformation, you will often need to cover other subject areas such as strategy & vision, business value engineering, security & compliance and adoption planning.
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in a professional services presales capacity are vital. Broad industry knowledge and certifications in complementary skills and technologies are assumed. The Enterprise Architect is an individual contributor role but is required to work within cross-functional account teams.
Role and Responsibilities:
The primary duties for the position include but are not limited to:
- Providing business development support for strategic accounts and large opportunities.
- Driving large product + services opportunities that area aligned with customer outcomes
- Conveying the Citrix vision in terms that are clear and relevant to the customer’s business objectives.
- Enabling customers to understand how a Professional Services engagement will directly lead to their success.
- Building customer journey roadmaps that outline where Citrix provides value
- Scoping of large professional services engagements
- Participation within initiatives that drive innovation and change within Customer Success presales
Experience (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
- Proven ability to confidently host and run strategy or architecture focused customer workshops
- Excellent personal time management including ability to prioritize across several accounts & initiatives
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and create deliverables that exceed expectations.
- Ability to summarize complex technical situations into concise executive briefings.
- Proven expertise architecting large, complex enterprise-class solutions using Citrix technologies.
- Proven expertise in complex, client-focused consultative selling and establishing trusted advisor status
Preferred Qualifications (Education, Certification, Training)
- Current Citrix or 3rd party Certifications that demonstrate technical knowledge
- Certifications in non-technical areas such as Project Management & Governance are beneficial
- Regardless of specific certifications, the individual should be able to demonstrate:
- – Strong technical breadth across Citrix Virtualization, Networking, Cloud and Mobility products/technologies.
- – Strong technical depth in at least one of the above technology areas
- – Strong technical background
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years of consulting field experience or equivalent Architect role
- Strong command of professional communication skills (written, oral).
- Positive attitude aimed at customer success
- Exhibits sound business judgement, and ability to influence others
