THE ROLE

Based out of our Chinchilla regional office, the Access Administrator provides a high level of specialised operational and administrative support to the Condanbri, Talinga and Orana (CTO) and Reed Creek, Combabula & Peat (RCCP) Access Teams.

Reporting to the Access Lead, you will work collaboratively with a team of Agreements Advisors, Land Access Negotiators, Stakeholder Liaisons, Cultural Heritage Advisors and Environment Specialists who are responsible for gaining and maintaining access to land for multiple projects within the CTO and RCCP Asset areas. The position operates in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment that requires a motivated individual to actively participate and contribute to a wide range of business-related access and administration support.

Key activities performed by this role include:

  • Preparation and quality control of key documentation related to access.
  • Responsible for document control activities for access related functions, adhering to internal control practices.
  • Provide support in the administration of the Stakeholder and Customer Relationship Management systems.
  • Initiate contact, build and maintain enduring relationships with regional community stakeholders (landholders, other local residents, community groups etc).
  • Simplify access business processes and templates to remove unnecessary administrative burden, including liaison across Origin to remove, minimise and streamline interactions with other business units.
  • Provide general administration support, ensuring accuracy, maintaining the integrity of confidential information.
  • Assist with coordination of meetings and events, including room bookings and catering.
  • Taking minutes of meetings and assist in execution of team actions, deadlines, correspondence and reporting.

To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in drafting general correspondence and legal agreements
  • Able to work independently and as a team player, working with own team and across teams.

Previous oil and gas operational experience is highly desirable.
