Job Description
The successful candidate will join the Corporate Accounts & Projects department in SIA Finance Division. You will assist with the financial/accounting set up of the new subsidiary/programme, Kris+ Pte. Ltd (Kris+).
Key Responsibilities include:
Accounting functions of Kris+ Pte. Ltd (Kris+)
1. Understand internal controls and ensure governance of accounting and business processes in the set up
2. Understand the specific regulatory requirements for the new subsidiary and ensure accounting processes are set up to adhere to those requirements
3. To facilitate the smooth transition of the payment programme (from the existing set up to the new set up – inclusive of current processes and accounting treatment)
4. Provide full spectrum of accounting services to the new subsidiary by maintaining the full set of accounts, and ensuring that the records are properly maintained and comply with regulatory requirements
5. Work closely with the loyalty programme business unit to roll out new initiatives on the payment programme
6. Report flash and actual results to SIA every month, based on stipulated timeline issued by SIA
7. Prepare quarterly Board papers for submission to new subsidiary’s Board
8. Prepare/review quarterly and annual MAS reports/surveys
9. Liaise with external auditors for annual statutory audit
10. Prepare annual financial statements for the new entity
Development of staff
1. Complete performance development tasks for staff
2. Coach staff on more challenging assignments, to develop their skillset
Others
1. Any adhoc tasks or projects as may be assigned by superiors
Requirements
• Minimum a degree in Accountancy
• Minimum 2 years of working experience, preferably related to financial reporting
• Experience with implementation of accounting systems an advantage
