Responsibilities:

Maintain operational excellence :

• Understand the procedures, terminology and documents related to international shipping, from the time the purchase order is issued to the time the goods are delivered. 
• Use industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt procedures and provide solutions in response to challenges, both internally and externally.
• Coordinate shipping-related tasks to meet all customer standard operating procedures requirements: accept reservations, process notices, complete government declarations and delivery, ensure proper invoicing, etc.

Facilitate Relationships:

• Collaborate with members of our international team and with third party agents to ensure efficiency, excellence in customer service and creative problem solving.
• Build excellent relationships with clients, responding quickly and following up on problem resolution.
• Provide reports and document support to internal and external clients.
• Participate in functional reviews of clients.
• Use industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt procedures and provide solutions in response to challenges, both internally and externally.

Mandatory skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent general education
• Have at least one year of experience in the field of logistics

Preferred skills:

• Recognition of the importance of a diverse and inclusive workplace
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs
• Excellent communication skills, prioritization and multitasking
• Demonstrated experience of excellent customer service, customer interaction and customer centric approach skills

• Build great relationships with customers, responding timely and following up on issue resolution
• Provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers.
• Participate in customer business reviews.
• Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and to create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally.

Required Qualifications:

• High school degree or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of Global Forwarding experience
