Investec’s UK Private Capital team provides established entrepreneurs, owner-managers and HNWs the right capital solutions across their corporate and non-corporate assets. The team draws upon decades of cumulative experience with a diverse client base, both in the UK and internationally, helping wealth creators drive value and grow their businesses.
In this role, you’ll be working in a deal team to analyse business opportunities through understanding credit and investment risks/ returns, incorporating financial analysis, valuation and modelling techniques to assess the basis upon which the Bank will lend/ invest. You will be given significant credit and client exposure.
This includes:
Financial and cash flow analysis and preparation of financial models;
Desk top industry and sector analysis and commercial review;
Participation in the conduct of third party due diligence process;
Assistance with preparation of credit/ investment submission;
Execution and documentation of deals;
Support the post deal monitoring including:
Ensuring adherence to covenants and other controls laid down in banking/ investment documentation;
Assistance with amendments to deals;
Assisting with client relationship management.
About you:
Experience in leverage finance / direct lending
MS Office with advanced Excel knowledge;
Team player – strong interpersonal skills
Ambitious and dynamic
