Associate Accounting Analyst

Description

The Compensation Analyst will analyze external and internal data to support the Victoria’s Secret compensation programs for all associate populations globally, including but not limited to Distribution Centers, Stores, Call Center, & Corporate. Participates in surveys, benchmarks jobs, delivers reporting and insights, and helps to ensure compensation programs are compliant and competitive. Participates in the development of recommendations regarding compensation plan changes. Supports the annual company-wide merit review process.

Responsibilities

Compensation Consulting

    • Provides the highest level of customer service to all internal and external partners.
    • Responds to basic compensation policies and practices inquiries.
    • Supports and facilitates strong collaboration within the Compensation and Human Resources teams.
    • Seen as a collaborator and advisor to the business as well as HR Partners in the analysis and administration of compensation programs, to include analyzing and communicating pay administration programs.
    • May support internal and external offer recommendations.

 

Benchmarking

    • Conducts and participates in local, national and international compensation surveys.
    • Analyze job content to determine FLSA exemption status and job pay grades based upon the market pricing of the role, while analyzing internal peers and external market competitiveness.
    • Assists with the annual review of pay structure changes and provides recommendations for changes based on market and associate analysis for various areas of the business both domestic and internationally.
    • Assists with salary survey selection and may attend industry focus groups.
    • Supports administration of the benchmarking system.

 

Reporting & Analytics

    • Responsible for regular metrics, reporting, and analytics on compensation practices.
    • Provides costing and analysis for business initiatives.
    • Completes ad hoc analysis and reporting for HR partners as requested for area of responsibility.

 

Compensation Administration & Compliance

    • Assists with the administration of the annual merit processes including but not limited to, merit budget review and recommendation, compensation system set-up, and processes.
    • Participates in legal compliance initiatives, costing, and analysis.
    • Supports year-round administration of and training for users of the Compensation Planning System.
    • Owns updating and managing HRIS tables partnering with technology to ensure timely and consistent approach and practices.
    • Assists in the creation, documentation, maintenance, and administration of compensation policies and procedures.

 

Participates in special projects as needed.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (HR, business, finance, accounting preferred) or related experience.
    • 1 to 3 years related experience.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Word; HRIS experience a plus.
