Seeking an entry-level IT project manager to successfully manage IT projects from initiation to delivery. Role includes effectively managing scope, timeline, budget, resources, risks, and success criteria of IT application, infrastructure, or security projects. May also include partnering and coordinating with Senior IT Project Managers to assist with larger project efforts.
- Manage multiple projects from initiation to delivery.
- Manage day-to-day team interactions and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain project charters, project plans, budget, communication plan, risk register, and other deliverables to ensure successful project delivery.
- Create project charter, including scope, goals, success criteria, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
- Create project plans; monitor tasks and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Anticipate critical risks and demonstrate initiative to appropriately escalate and resolve.
- Effectively and consistently communicate project status, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders, team, and PMO.
- Ensure compliance to PMO methodologies and policies
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience managing IT projects
- Experience following PMO processes and knowledge of best practices for project management
- Experience with project management software, including MS project and Jira Software
- Strong communication, facilitation, and influence skills
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with individuals at all levels
- Dynamic and open to new approaches or change
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once
