YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifying use case and further translate into data insights and ML/AI solutions
- Performing statistical analysis, computer programming, predictive/computer vision modeling, and experimental design to meet product/venture objectives
- Developing sustainable, consumable, accurate, and impactful reporting on model inputs, model outputs, observed outputs, business impact, and key performance indicators
- Working reproducibly by documenting, organizing, and curating data and code
- Analyzing and assessing the quality of data and provide QA/QC solutions
- Collaborating with data engineers to streamline data source, data cleansing/visualization/analysis, relational data base, and ELT process
- Acting as a data champion/evangelist within the organization to promote data science/AI based business innovation, operational enhancement, and strategic decision making
- Managing external data science partners/vendors, build cross-functional relationships to collaboratively partner with internal business team, and effectively network within global data science community

WHO YOU ARE
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Math/Statistics, Biosystem/Bioinformatics, or other related fields
- 1+ years of experience in researching, developing and/or implementing machine learning solutions
- Proficiency in data science tools and technology, such as Python, R, MySQL, and cloud-based techniques
- Strong understanding and skills in advanced analytics and data science models and methodology, such as statistical analysis, algorithm development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, text mining, natural language processing, and optimization
- Familiar with data models built on both structured and unstructured data (e.g. images)
- Excellent skills in communication, presentation, and stakeholder collaboration\
- Experience with computer vision modeling is a plus
