An exciting opportunity has opened for a dynamic and driven Brand Experience Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting initiatives aimed at building and strengthening our brand vision: progress for humanity.

Marketing at Hyundai starts with our progressive products and ends with our inspired and delighted customers and as part of the Brand Experience team, you’ll bring the two together with physical manifestations of Hyundai through partnerships and sponsorship events. As an innate people connector, you will work to ensure that all customer facing activations deliver an exceptional and memorable experience in order to drive brand appeal and consideration.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the long-term partnership between Hyundai and Chelsea Football Club. Develop and implement hero activations that put Hyundai’s vehicle launches in the hearts of their football fans. Coordinate our grass roots Hyundai Football Club league.

Support the Brand Experience Manager across other partnerships and sponsorships. Proactively integrate with PR, Social, Digital, CRM and Dealer teams to align activity messaging to ensure strict adherence to the Hyundai Brand Identity and to drive maximum media reach and consumer engagement across all communications channels.

Lead/support various internal-facing events. With the Training and Sales teams, develop events for internal staff and dealers. With the Brand Experience Manager, organise the annual Dealer Conference and Business Briefing. Foster and manage day-to-day relationships with agency and production partners to bring projects to fruition.

Coordinate the proper financial and legal approval processes.  Ability to work and influence key stakeholders in the business to keep multiple projects on time and in budget.

Coordinate the day-to-day quarterly reporting requirements. Understand the HMUK brand and commercial objectives and track the ROI performance of sponsorship and partnership activities against these KPIs. Work with the Brand Experience Manager to evaluate successes and arrive at key recommendations for future.

Proactively investigate new partner and sponsorship ideas for the business. Seek out relationships across tech, fashion, design and e-sports for the experiential launches of all new models, with a particular focus on electrified powertrains. Monitor competitive promotions and events to ensure Hyundai is embracing the latest industry trends and opportunities.

Essential Skills:

  • 2+ years’ Marketing experience with a broad understanding the marketing channel mix
  • 2+ years’ Event Management and/or Project Management experience
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Budget management and cost control skills
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
  • Educated to a Degree level
  • Thrives in fast-paced work environment with an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exemplary organisational skills
  • Ambitious, with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to find innovative solutions to challenges
  • Ability to build strong relationships with either a Customer Service/Business Development background
  • Analytically minded with a good understanding of data
  • Creative flair, with an ability to review assets and act confidently as the brand guardian
  • Passion for cars with a broad understanding automotive market place
