We are looking for a ‘hands-on’ Business Analyst to join us at our office in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Within this role, you will work on a number of Finance System related projects within Liberty Global Shared Services.
This will be a varied role and will require you to get involved in multiple in-flight projects as well as drive the start of new ones. Typically, you will be working closely with Project Managers, Technology/Business Solution Owners and 3rd party application providers and support service teams.
Travel will also be expected to other sites within the UK/EU as and when required.
Key Attributes and Duties:
- Co-ordination with business stakeholders to understand the business demand and support prioritisation within the overall demand/delivery roadmap
- Capture, analyse and document business processes
- Requirement gathering, analysis, impact assessment (fit-gap) and validation of the business need and alignment to a new way of working
- Data mapping activities for financial and non-financial data
- Capture and maintain requirement traceability through design and delivery
- Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements
- Coordinate with project team to ensure final deliverables meet stakeholder objectives
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
- Experience working on various corporate, back-office, and finance system implementation and change activities
- Experience working on multiple complex global projects
- Experience of managing business change with an emphasis on operational requirements and the end user
- Experience writing solution design documents, functional specifications, evaluating and refining business requirements
- Experience of working with a Shared Service centre model
- Familiarity with integrations and data requirements between multiple systems
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
