About the opportunities available

To support our ongoing commitment to growth, new and multiple positions have been created in our Natural Gas and Electricity Sales Team based in Murdoch. We are looking for enthusiastic, people oriented sales professionals to contribute their fresh ideas and leadership skills with our high performing team.

As one of our New Business Sales Consultants, you will make outbound sales to businesses from Small Medium Enterprise (SME) up to small Commercial and Industrial businesses, for the supply of their energy needs. You will be provided with extensive training and all the tools required to support your success, and there are opportunities for career growth in sales and other customer focused roles throughout Kleenheat and Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Getting to know your customers and their specific business strategies and capabilities, which will assist you in delivering on agreed sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Participating in the development, implementation, and ongoing review of customer growth strategies.
  • Collaborating with existing clients to identify and develop new business opportunities, enable growth and maximise margins.
  • Establishing a lead register and report on the status of all prospects in the customer pipeline.
  • Preparing and presenting contract documents and client proposals.

  • Previous experience in a sales environment with strong sales performance and a customer service focus.
  • Enthusiasm, passion and motivation to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility and the ability to adapt to your client.
  • Developing influencing and contract negotiation skills.
  • A willingness to learn new things and contribute positively to a team.
