YOUR ROLE

  • Work across the category management team to embed our Category Drivers and Strategy with our key retail partners
  • Support in tailoring our category strategy to key customers and create actionable category, customer & shopper insight driven plans
  • Be the ambassador of best in class merchandising and space planning across the team
  • Work cross functionally with sales, marketing and digital to respond to ad hoc requests for new insight and be able to see the bigger picture
  • Proactively evaluate and analyse customer performance against our competitive set and categories
  • Identify the big wins for Henkel, the customer & the category, short, medium & long term and work with the
  • Category Controller to prioritise own work plan
  • Bring the voice of the category and retailer into conversations, ensure customer insight is at the heart of all Henkel decision making
  • Develop our Perfect Store vision aligned to our category growth plan and vision (instore and online)

YOUR SKILLS

  • Great communication and relationship building skills.
  • Degree educated with at least 2 years experience in a Category Management position in an FMCG environment (H&B experience an advantage)
  • Analytical and effective in using multiple data sources to build category stories. Ideally have a background in working with IRI/Kantar/dunnhumby/Nectar360/IGD etc.
  • Confident using Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Previous experience in Space Planning or Merchandising desirable.
  • Well organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • A creative thinker, with highly impactful presentation skills
  • Commercial acumen; proven track record of making sound decisions with awareness for business needs
