The role
To continue with our people engagement initiative, we have an excellent opportunity within our Change and Programme Support Team for a Change Support Manager who is responsible for supporting projects and programmes plan and deliver people related change activity.
The Change and Programme Support Team provide change resource to high priority, large scale transformational projects and programmes and support smaller projects and programmes to understand and deliver necessary people change management activity in a self-sufficient manner.
As Change Support Manager, you’ll be aligned to specific projects and programmes and be responsible for all people related change activity, drawing on HR Centres of Excellence, HR Business Partners and other group functions to support with the planning and delivery of change from business case development to deployment.
This is a vital people engagement role as you’ll work in conjunction with the project and programme leads to ensure people change activity and the people plan is a fully integrated part of the project and programme management and ensure consistent application of HR policies, standards and strategies.
You’ll input, as required, to project planning, including identification of risks and issues, and mitigating actions and support the development of robust, consistent workforce plans to manage changing levels of resource.
Liaising with the HR Centres of Excellence, you’ll support the development of the people plan and oversee the development, testing and implementation of technical solutions and people change products to ensure the final product satisfies the defined requirements.
You’ll support the development of key people metrics and critical success factors; monitoring and reporting in line with agreed project milestones and ensure the project deliverables are consistent with the longer-term people strategy.
Using your well-developed communication and influencing skills, you’ll maintain strong stakeholder relationships, at all levels, in line with project and programme requirements and support the deployment of the change, communications and engagement strategy.
Furthermore, you’ll collaborate with the IR teams and HR Business Partners to ensure a co-ordinated IR approach (both CWU and Unite CMA)
About you
You need come from a people orientated HR background with a proven track record of supporting people transformation projects. In addition, you need to demonstrate the following on Your CV.

Qualifications
• Degree qualified or equivalent
• CIPD qualified desirable
• Professional change management accreditation desirable
