Manager- Emerging Accounts & Growth segments

Purpose of the position:

  • First level for customer: Sales and Service for PAN India mainly for emerging accounts.
  • To focus on HC growth segments: Medical devices, Food Ingredients, Biologics/ Cell culture.
  • To support sales growth in India region through market research, business/ competitor intelligence activities and support for marketing activities like tradeshows, give aways, advertisements, seminars/workshop.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and account management, for emerging accounts, across Pan India for BL Health Care products and services: Oral and injectable excipients, amino acids, intermediates for pharma APIs, drug delivery services.
  • Support Indian Team members for establishing Medical device segment in India.
  • New business development in Biologics/ cell culture, Med devices and Food ingredients
  • First level commercial contact person for existing and potential new customers, timely follow-up of customers’ requests concerning service requirements, trouble shooting, complaints, supply;
  • Understanding customers´ commercial and technical needs and opportunities and provide adequate technical support via extensive tech service team and physical labs;
  • Overall responsible for forecast territory and customer overdues;
  • Research on customer needs and expectations in the field of products, processes and propose measures to improve customer satisfaction, issue reports on a regular basis;
  • Identify new business and/or new projects and support the launch of new products and services;
  • Work with existing customers and search for potential customers in the country;
  • Conduct and control all elements of basic sales process, such as: offers and contracts, incl. their documentation, credit management; solve open points in processing and logistics;
  • Be a pivotal player in increasing the BL Health Care sales as well as market share in the region by identifying and developing suitable strategies;
  • Negotiation of contract terms (with regard to) such as quantity, payment terms and conditions or delivery terms and conditions; Negotiate the price (within the price range);
  • Prepare and negotiate sales or other product related contracts;
  • Decide on discounts, rebates, etc.;
  • Taking responsibility of recovery of accounts receivables;
  • Discuss individual complaint procedure with the customer;
  • Provide individual conflict resolution to the customer;
  • Observe, analyze and report competitors marketing activities and strategies (e.g. products, personnel, processes) to support competitive benchmarking;
  • To find prospective customers & market size for new products & services of healthcare in India, Nepal & Srilanka;
  • Capturing Customer details including interactions, opportunities and key updates in CRM;
  • Responsible for managing service project under DDE segment.
