Job Description Summary:
The role of the Channel Partner Team Intern will be to support the Channel Partner Team with all existing and new partners. You will be heavily involved in managing our Salesforce CRM, financial and data analysis using tools such as Excel and PIE and helping the team drive revenue through Front Book (new) and Back Book (existing) partners. You will have the freedom to initiate and manage your own projects to help the business and the ability to work cross-functionally with other teams such as Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, SMB and more.

What does Success Look Like?
You will support the Channel Partner team and collaborate with other PayPal departments to:
Support the Front Book team in on-boarding sellers for recently onboarded Marketplace Operators Work with the Back Book team to drive merchant attachment for their partners, in co-ordination with Sales, Sales Enablement and Marketing Provide reporting on PayPal’s progress in this sector/channel
In addition you will be expected to:
Be very financially numerate- be able to understand and interpret data, to be able to make decisions based on data and solid business case rationale but also to be able to draw hypothesis, make decisions and drive action where limited data may be available To be able to deconstruct and solve problems, to investigate drivers and figure out ‘why’ things happen Have a keen interest in payments and fintech and an understanding of the main competitive threats

You Must Also Have:
Undergraduate Degree or part of a sandwich course programme in a business / commercial related subject with expected grade at least a 2:1 Be available for a 12 months internship starting July 2021
