ABOUT THE ROLE
Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
- Perform sampling and testing of in-process, environmental, and utilities facilities.
- Operate, calibrate, and conduct routine maintenance of analytical instruments. Skills with the following instruments are considered essential:
- Gas Chromatography
- Induction Coupled Plasma
- Ion Chromatography
- Auto titrators
- UV/Vis Photometry
- Maintain laboratory records in a systematic and logical manner.
- Assist with the development of analytical procedures.
- Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations.
- Assist with laboratory stock control and maintain adequate notification.
- Perform general laboratory duties and assist with the maintenance and development of the laboratory operation.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
- Relevant Technical School qualifications or tertiary studies.
- Demonstrated experience in handling Petrochemical, Gas or Chemical Products.
- Proficient computer software literacy.
- Knowledge in Quality Systems.
- Professional presentation.
- Technical knowledge.
- Problem solving.
