Clinical Diagnostics Account Manager

Overview

Professionally promote and sell the complete Clinical Diagnostics product range within the defined territory to achieve or exceed sales target.

To maintain a high level of customer service and promote the company, its products and activities at all levels within the market place.

 

Responsibilities

To achieve/exceed sales targets in line with an agreed Territory Management Plan.

To further develop the territory by effective planning, forecasting and management of the business in line with agreed strategy.

To maintain a high level of customer service / contact through regular sales call. Maintain and build new relationships.

To provide quotations and complete tenders and Managed Service Contracts

To provide market & competitor information and activities and customer feedback to Management.

To liaise with Technical Support, Order processing, Service, Product Managers and Applications Specialists to ensure customer requirement are met. To investigate and resolve complaints quickly and efficiently.

To update customer database on salesforce.com and site visit reports and prepare monthly report for Field Sales Manager.

To attend quarterly Sales Meeting and represent the company at exhibitions.

 

 

 

Qualifications

Sales professional with considerable direct sales in a relevant industry.

 

Strong technical background in a Clinical Laboratory.

 

Strong communication skills, be self motivated with the ability to autonomously but be part of a bigger Team.

 

Good level of IT proficiency.

 

A full, clean driving license is essential

 

Ideally you will be Degree or FIBMS qualified with knowledge of Molecular Biology.
