As the Cloud Application Architect, you will be part of a team that supports the development, maintenance, and evolution of Transurban’s Enterprise Architecture. You will bring expertise in AWS, Enterprise Application Development and Cloud based Solution Architecture, to take a lead role in assuring the build for our global platform of the future.
The impact you’ll have:

Guide the build of AWS solutions to ensure business requirements are met and the platform aligns to our technical vision

Assure the technical delivery of the nBOS program

Lead regular code reviews and run key design discussions, recognise constraints around budget and time

Apply a commercial and schedule lens to Architectural decisions ensuring informed discussion and structured decision making by the relevant stakeholders

Ensure solution and design outcomes align to Enterprise Architecture standards and approved
The talents you’ll bring:

AWS Solution Architecture certification (or equivalent level of understanding and maturity)

Proven experience in software architecture and design for a mission critical operational system

Demonstrable experience in a DevOps program role working on commercial, scalable AWS Solutions

Professional experience in leading code reviews and working in agile program delivery

Professional experience with REST API development & maintenance in a CI/CD environment
