As a College Intern – Cyber Security with Frost, you will gain experience with a corporation that provides a full range of commercial and consumer banking products, investment and brokerage services, insurance products and investment banking services. Responsibilities will include participating in log analysis, system compliance reporting, security technology, implementations, and documenting procedures. The candidate will assist with security monitoring and incident response processes to help protect our confidential data and IT systems. Frost operates more than 100 financial centers across Texas in the Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Rio Grande Valley and San Antonio regions. Frost is the largest Texas-based banking organization that operates only in Texas, with a legacy of helping clients with their financial needs across three centuries.
Required
- Must be a Junior or Senior level student enrolled in one of the following four year degree programs: Information Assurance/Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or Network/Software Engineering
- Minimum 3.0 G.P.A.
- Work 20-25 hours per week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00AM & 5:00PM
- Strong organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Strong PowerShell or other scripting ability
- A+, Security+, Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Experience with log analysis and log aggregation tools
- Basic forensic experience on Microsoft systems
