About This Job:
Working in close collaboration, with the Nordic External Affairs & Communication director to create, implement and manage corporate, internal affiliate communications programmes in line with our business strategy.
- Drive social media editorial process, with agency input, to manage channel news flow and timely content to reach and engage key stakeholders on our business/ key interests
- Embed social media governance practices such as channel access/ monitoring/ listening and PV reporting, materials approval/ checks, rapid response process, smart social media use with team/ agency/ content owners/ affiliate communicator network.
- In close collaboration with Marketing and Brand teams drive Product PR and disease awareness campaigns. Implement programmes generate appropriate media relations and leadership visibility opportunities that support the corporate and / or brand communications objectives
- Localise, prepare and maintain written materials such as messaging materials, Q&A documents, media backgrounders, corporate factsheets and social media content
- Project manage cross functional communication initiatives, managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, including third parties, working to tight timelines and ensuring timely delivery that is on budget
- Support/lead on issues/crisis management counsel as appropriate to key internal stakeholders should an issue occur
- Develop reactive and proactive communications materials to effectively manage issues before they escalate
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Understand how to plan, drive, manage and juggle multiple programmes and priorities
- Work cross functionally (and internationally) with key internal stakeholders within our remit, affiliate and region to achieve appropriate approvals of materials and manage issues that may occur with the process autonomously
- Ensure a consistent and solutions-orientated approach
- Take ownership in supporting and facilitating communications to ensure local success of PR programmes and internal initiatives rolled out centrally.
- Benchmark and measure existing and new communications activities implemented and review how these can be improved upon
- Lead development of agency briefs / proposals and issues documents to support the department’s objectives and outputs
- Work with appointed external agencies to ensure they deliver on agreed outputs for live projects, on budget and within specified timelines
- Review and disseminate relevant media coverage daily with relevant internal (and in some instances external) stakeholders
- Input social media metrics into team reporting/ dashboard
- Fluent English in writing and speaking
- Proactively keep informed and up-to-date on the relevant industry codes of compliance and all related updates
- Represent the Corporate Communications team at external events as needed
Education/Qualifications:
- Proven experience working autonomously in a communications function incl Social Media channels.
- Track record of leading planning process with excellent organisational and collaboration skills.
- Pharma sector experience with strong customer focus; in multi-disciplinary, matrix and cross-cultural settings.
- Proven compliance expertise to understand and comply with industry laws and relevant regulations.
- Coaching and collaboration skills to interact with all levels of personnel to achieve shared goals.
- Proven ability to influence, (appropriately) challenge and engage diverse senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in written and verbal business English
- Graduate or equivalent professional qualification and/or proven expertise.
Additional Information:
- Based in Nordic office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
- Travel as required by the business.

- Willing and able to undertake international and European travel (including overnight stays)
