The BBC Academy’s responsible for learning and development across the BBC. Our aim is to deliver learning experiences that are effective, innovative and enable our ambition to be the most creative organisation in the world.
Our learning experience design team support the discovery, design, testing and production of the BBC’s blended learning programmes. As a direct impact of the pandemic we’re seeing a higher demand for audio content, as such we’re now looking for an experienced and passionate Content Producer or Learning Developer with experience in audio to join the team on a 12-month FTC.
Main Responsibilities
As a content producer, you’ll be responsible for the planning and production of learning experiences, particularly audio elements, across multiple delivery channels to support the BBC’s diverse set of learning programmes and campaigns. In this hands-on role you’ll:
devise and produce a variety of learning solutions, ranging from innovative to straightforward, in service to the needs to the learner
work on multiple, complex learning projects, championing blended learning and always putting your learner at the heart of your thinking
champion and develop content delivery ideas for our Learning Experience Platform
work collaboratively with colleagues across to build effective learning solutions
apply the latest thinking in learning to develop creative production ideas to maximise learner engagement and impact
where necessary, manage relationships with projects being delivered through our framework of external suppliers
undertake day to day work within the team supporting activities such as content and website updates
Are you the right candidate?
You’ll have previous experience of working in an L&D production or audio production role, and be an expert in learning authoring tools such as Evolve and Gomo.
You will be specialised in audio production, also with a good knowledge of video production and graphic design. You can demonstrable a good knowledge of the latest thinking in digital learning and experience in developing blended learning programmes. You’ll have fantastic influencing skills, and come with a flexible, adaptable and resilient approach to work with experience of working with agility and pace.
