Position Purpose:
The Continuous Improvement and Transformation Lead will drive a business and cultural evolution towards a new digitalized and improved way of working for the transactional finance activities and other operations.
This role will be responsible for the execution of a comprehensive strategy to drive digital transformation, process innovation using intelligent automation, data analytics and Project Management Office for Zoetis Financial Shared Services.
This role will drive and institutionalize a culture focused on Lean/Six Sigma and will demonstrate the business value and return on investment in terms of improved service to our customers, a better employee experience, and value for our Stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Execute and implement process, technology and organizational workforce change and successfully lead from conception to delivery of projects
- Develop the overall Change Management Framework and execution approach at diverse and ongoing identified initiatives
- Develop strategy for stakeholder management to support transformation initiatives, assuring that objectives are understood, workforce impacts are managed, commitment of leadership is sustained, and that there are mechanisms for feedback that can support continuous improvement to the overall change program
- Collaborate with Global Process Owners in Shared Services, Business operations, IT and other Leaders to guide change (process, systems, and organizational capability) for all significant strategic initiatives, including integration and assimilation, localization, process standardization, optimization and automation.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of spearheading strategic and tactical initiatives using a range of Continuous Improvement (CI) and Intelligent Automation (IA) tools and methods
- Identify and maintain a method for managing risks associated with the transformation that result from the organizations ability or inability to effectively implement change
- Develop mechanisms that monitor risks, implement mitigations, and build trust in the organization with the targeted organizational outcomes
- Effectively directly and indirectly manage global teams supporting project management, data analytics and intelligent automation
Skills Required
- Experience managing portfolios and driving transformation initiatives
- Experience working with agile delivery models and/or working in an agile environment
- Proven record of successful delivery of end-to-end transformation projects, through all stages of project lifecycle
- Thought leadership on digital transformation initiatives along with proven execution and change management
- People management experience in a global organization
Education
- Graduate degree in Finance / Accounting. Advanced degree/MBA/ CPA preferred
Experience
- 12-15+ years’ experience in finance shared services in leadership or managerial positions. Animal Health / Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
- Strong track record of independent leadership and influencing skills with proven experience of acting as a change agent
- Strong analytical background with strategic thinking capabilities and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of accounting, internal controls, financial systems and processes
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in writing
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Understanding of innovative technology solutions and their business application (robotics, artificial intelligence, data analytics, etc.) and ability to discuss and develop new products, processes and standards to support the business strategy
- Highly proficient with data analytics/visualization tools and the MS Office Suite of applications
