Our Design & Construction department at Scentre Group is responsible for the end-to-end process from concept to delivery of our Westfield living centres. An integral part of this is the extensions and upgrades to existing centres. We develop and deliver designs that reflect the Westfield experience and latest thinking while optimising costs and providing speed to market that exceeds the best achievable by alternate delivery methodologies.

 

The Role…

 

At Scentre Group we give our Contracts Administrators full range of scope to manage their packages end-to-end. We are seeking an experience Contracts Administrator to join our project team based at Westfield Knox. Reporting directly into the Project Manager some of the responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

 

Properly manage all commercial and financial activities on the Project to ensure completed works achieve the Environmental Occupational Health & Safety (EOH&S), time, cost and quality objectives for the Project.

Ensure cost forecasts accurately reflect the Construction Programme requirements. Continuously monitor actual cost against forecast. Determine and make recommendations to the Project Manager on any appropriate corrective actions necessary when budgets are at risk of not being achieved.

Manage the procurement, establishment and the proper administration of all allocated Subcontracts and/or Supply Agreements.

Ensure all commercial administration activities on the Project are in accordance with Scentre Group policies and procedures.

Assist in the timely and accurate submission of Monthly Project Report (MPR).

Tertiary qualification in related discipline

Demonstrated experience in a similar commercial role

Comprehensive knowledge of construction and development projects

Experience working on commercial and retail projects.

100% accuracy in all areas of Forecasting, Cost Management

The ability to communicate effectively, both internally and externally

Effective time management skills

Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills

Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment
