As a Corporate Account Manager you will be working as a key member within an agile, dynamic team that is leading Corporate Veterinary Groups the fastest growing segment within the full service veterinary market. Primary responsibility is to execute account specific growth strategies as defined in customer account plans. You will work closely with the Account Director and customer to align strategic objectives and growth plans. Through frequent customer interactions, act as a thought partner and decision influencer to assigned group of Corporate and Strategic Accounts. Partners with the customer and Account Director to create effective business programs that will grow and sustain both IDEXX and the customer’s economic goals.
In the role of Corporate Account Manager:
-You will serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned corporate and strategic accounts.
-You will act as a thought partner and decision influencer to develop, support, strengthen and grow an assigned group of Corporate Accounts.
-You will develop, evolve and strengthen strategic partnerships and relationships across various Corporate Account roles, including Operations, Business Development, Procurement, Marketing, and IT.
-You will partner with aligned accounts to co-create value through the implementation of effective business programs that will grow and sustain both IDEXX and the customer’s economic goals and broad strategic initiatives.
-Partner with the Account Director, conduct periodic business reviews as needed.
-You will manage customer expectations and monitor performance against customer goals.
-Identify business and economic challenges of practices; recommend, drive and implement solutions.
-Immediately address customer escalation issues for corporate account critical care issues.
-Partner cross-functionally across IDEXX Organization to facilitate and coordinate business, sales, and technical assistance in support of the Corporate Account business plans and programs.
-You will Coordinate and own the execution of product installations, training, technical review and other key deliverables, including field travel when needed.
-Identify and schedule project and program deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
-Following the lead of the Account Director, communicate and manage effective implementation of all price increases, contract renewals and incentive rebate payments.
-Manage tasks and timelines across all functions, ensuring activities are completed to meet time, cost, quality and customer expectations.
What you need to succeed:
-5-7 years of Strategic or Key Account Management experience. Animal Health Experience highly preferred.
-Field sales experience preferred.
-Demonstrated success in creating and growing strategic customer relationships, loyalty, and business plans and programs.
-In-depth business acumen with broad industry view.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills. Ability to present and explain information in a way that establishes rapport; persuades others; and gains understanding.
-Mentor and coach to customers and peers.
-Demonstrated success in persuasion and negotiation.
-Solves problems independently and assumes responsibility.
-Works under minimal supervision
-Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
-Experience presenting and communicating with c-suite executives
Travel Requirements:
- 50% travel required(post COVID).
