About the role
Right now we’re on the lookout for a Customer Service Officer to join our Sales Team on a permanent basis at our Kalgoorlie branch. As the newest member of our team, you’ll report to our Regional Manager – Goldfields/ Esperance and be responsible for providing professional, accurate and timely service to customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring safety remains priority number one.
- Providing professional customer service via counter sales, telephone calls and emails.
- Processing customer transactions including orders, payments, amendments, account queries, new account creation and database maintenance.
- Collaborating with other departments to source information and resolve issues to achieve first point of contact resolution whenever possible.
- Organising deliveries and maintaining an organised stock room.
- Providing administration support when required.
- Assisting with manual handling tasks.
To excel in the role you’ll need the right mix of skills and experience, which for this position means:
- Previous experience in a fast paced customer service role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity.
- The ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
