Division Overview:

 

Crown’s Beverage Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees and teas as well as new energy drinks. Crown Beverage leads the packaging industry with innovative technologies that redefine how the world looks at beverage cans. With a large printable surface area and a wide range of sizes, shapes and decorating options, our aluminum cans are the perfect packaging format to create compelling brand presence where it counts. Location: Based in our Olympia, Washington facility, this position will support the commercial team of the North America Beverage Division in a variety of areas. The individual will work closely with not only outside sales commercial team, but also with our manufacturing facilities throughout North America. This position will also interact with a variety of internal departments including but not limited to the Division’s Graphics Department, Production Planning and Accounts Receivable. The CSR is the “voice of the Company” who works to protect the best interest of the company while ensuring our customer’s needs are being met. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

 

General Duties:

 

Serve as the main point of contact for our customers in your assigned region.

Receive and enter sales orders from a variety of customers

Management of all assigned customer accounts receivable activity

Setting up of new customers in the Crown system

Management of obsolete and slow moving inventory

Manage and maintain customer forecasts in the company’s TM1 system.

Enter various types of invoices related to freight, needs attention inventory, quantity adjustments, graphic charges, etc. for all customers

Ensure inventory on hand in sufficient to meet the customer’s needs and work with plants to update plans as needed.

Provide input and feedback for production plans by manufacturing lines.

Support the commercial team with current date on forecasts and sales trends as needed.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

 

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in business or a business related filed.

3+ years of hands-on work experience in a Customer Service role.

Customer service experience with large consumer package good companies is a plus.

Working experience in a manufacturing based industry preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs.

Working experience using an AS400 system is a plus.

Physical Requirements

 

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The associate may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

 

Generally works in an office setting but will be required to spend time each day inside a plant environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.

The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.

The noise level is frequently loud.
