EDO is a linchpin of an ecosystem of data-first functions that will work together seamlessly to enable Invesco to achieve the true value of data. The mission of the EDO is “Empowering the business of Invesco by delivering trusted solutions through complete data services, delivered globally to be consumed locally.”
Your Role
The Data Advisory Analyst is a critical bridge between the EDO, and to the business or other matrixed organizations to ensure that existing and planned efforts have the data, data strategy and data services that guarantees success.
You will be responsible for:
- Enabling the Investment Data Product Owners (IDPO) to fully utilize Invesco data capabilities
- Partnering with IDPO and others in EDO in collecting and translating business requirement into data solutions
- Provide analyst/execution support for data initiatives
- Maintaining and coordinating data capability roadmaps
- Developing and maintaining trusted partnerships across data ecosystem through effective communication and execution
- Serving as a conduit between business partners and the broader Enterprise Data Office (EDO) team inclusive of Data Operations, Governance and Delivery teams
- Partnering across EDO and with technology to evaluate and articulate effort, priority and timing
- Strengthening and driving the adoption of common Data Advisory standards across the Investment business domain
The skills and experience you’ll bring
You will:
- Bring investment management or financial services consulting experience
- Have a working knowledge of the end-to-end investment management operational processes, and the data required to support these
- Bring solid understanding of data management lifecycle and hands-on experience in data capabilities
- Show knowledge of Informatica tool suite or an equivalent
- Have working SQL knowledge or an equivalent
We are looking for someone who:
- Has the qbility to interact with all levels of the business, technology and all aspects of EDO
- Can guide strategic data discussions with the investment business, technology, and the investment data office
- Has great written communication and presentation skills
- Loves details and is great at organising
