In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be a key player in the Supply Chain Data Analytics team. You are a data expert with serious analytical and statistical chops. You know how to take massive amounts of data and find the insights supply chain teams need to improve and optimize the Supply Chain business.
You are responsible for

  • Evaluates supply chain concepts and scenarios using analytic techniques
  • Applies advanced analytic techniques such as optimization, simulation, data mining and statistics to design, implement, validate, and refine mathematical models and algorithms to understand, evaluate and optimize supply chain
  • Develops insightful data driven recommendations and actions
  • Accountable for moving analytics to strategy within a program or model working with business partners.
  • Implements solutions to problems using data analysis, data mining, optimization tools and machine learning techniques and statistics
  • Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources
  • Analyze and interpret the results of analytics experiments
  • Applies a global approach to analytical solutions-both within Supply Chain globally
  • Develops and implements strategic direction and operational processes for Supply Chain and the different teams.
  • Drives the Integrated Supply Chain strategy delivering value for our Customers and for Philips through the implementation of a competitive integrated supply chain, digitally managed with a transparent end-to-end view
  • Promotes use of analytics with in domain and build internal and external resources and expertise

You are a part of

The Global Domestic Appliances Supply Chain organization, part of the Supply Chain Data Analytics team.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • 3-5 Years work experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Supply Chain
  • Broad understanding of Supply Chain management.
  • Previous experience in Data science/Analytics/Statistician roles
  • Advanced statistical knowledge
  • Ability to run different scenarios of forecasting methodologies and measure performance
  • Decide the statistical models and parameters to optimize statistical baseline quality
  • Hands on and detail oriented, with a strong ability to co-ordinate across different Geographies and with different stakeholders
  • Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
  • Passion for empirical research and for answering hard questions with data
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
  • Business acumen and articulation skills
  • Expertise in translating business requirements for analytics solutioning
