Job Summary
The candidate should be good in Python having technical knowledge and rich experience of working with various python libraries for data handling such as Numpy, Pandas, Scikit Learn etc. The candidate should also be good in web development in open source stack. S/he would be part of the Advanced Analytics team in Chennai – assisting them with all kinds of data extraction from disparate systems, converting data and tables into useful formats for quick analysis and developing web based front ends for showcasing results. Experience of working as a front-end developer with using Java based technologies would be useful. Overall experience – around 6 to 9 years. Knowledge of Data analytics tools such as R/Tableau and a good understanding of Statistical and Machine Learning techniques etc would be an added advantage.
Job Description
Pre-process structured/unstructured data and provide cleansed data for building analytic models
Extract data from public websites, social media, etc. to gather into internal tables and file formats that can be analyzed
Work closely with a data scientist to normalize and standardize data and prepare automation scripts for different solutions
Automate work to build pipelines to harness data from their source to be used in advanced analytic techniques
Identify, design, develop and test database architectures and large-scale processing solutions.
Develop and design web-based front end portals for gathering input and hosting the results of analytics solution
Participate in solution configuration, customization, and user training.
Profile Description
Graduate or Post-graduate in Computer Science or relevant discipline with a minimum of Data Engineer with 6 to 9 years overall experience post-degree in computers or IT or Analytics
Strong programming experience in Python, Java/J2EE, JavaScript
3+ years of good hands-on knowledge in Python language, SQL along with data pre-processing capabilities
Expert in Writing UNIX Shell Scripts
Good working knowledge with different database technologies like MySQL, MS-SQL, Hadoop, etc. is preferred
3+ years of experience in web development in open source stack
Well versed in HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript frameworks (Angular / jQuery / jQueryUI)
Hands-on experience required in Bootstrap 3 or above
Experience with working on REST APIs mandatory
Experience in working with cloud environment (AWS / Azure) is desired.
