Dealer Network Prospecting Coordinator

Mitsubishi Motors North America is looking for a Dealer Network Prospecting Coordinator to join our Dealer Network team. As a Dealer Network Prospecting Coordinator, you will provide high-level administrative assistance to support Dealer Network Development primarily in the compilation of qualified dealer prospects leading to candidacy and then appointment in priority markets.

 

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

Compile and refine dealer contact lists in target open point markets including mailing addresses and phone numbers.

Obtain the names of dealer principals to be contacted by mail and phone.

Organize and conduct direct mailings to dealer principals.

Initiate phone follow-up with nonresponsive dealers confirming letter receipt.

Establish and maintain a prospecting tracking report to facilitate follow-up and reporting.

Provide management reports of prospect development efforts and results.

Serve as an information resource to regional franchise development personnel

Regularly update dealer prospecting materials, including:

Dealer prospect letter and follow-up letter.

Dealer prospecting deck.

Leave-behind materials such as a “trifold” with key information about the Mitsubishi dealership opportunity.

As dealer terminations occur, update the prospecting tracking report and initiate the network development process.

Maintain the database of LOI and Dealer Agreement addendum commitments and follow up with region personnel to ensure timely completion of same.

Maintain and distribute weekly the dealer legal issues report.

Weekly review the Finance Hold report, timely communicate with region management and follow up to ensure appropriate corrective notices are sent and the deficiencies are brought to resolution.

Prepare and disseminate weekly and monthly franchise development status reports.

Assist Regional Dealer Network Managers with dealer renewals in compiling the paperwork necessary to develop dealer agreement renewal

VI Support –support the VI specialist with the administration of the program which includes compliance reviews, uploading of proposals, submission of MMC billing and developing completed project decks.

Provide assistance with departmental projects and tasks as required.

Cross-train in all areas of department and backup as needed.

 

What you’ll have:

 

3 – 5 years retail/wholesale automotive experience.

BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Advanced software knowledge in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

Prior dealer placement/development experience.

Previous knowledge of the mainframe.
