JOB DESCRIPTION
An employer is looking for a Software Engineer to sit in the Windsor, CT area. This position is responsible for supporting and testing third parties with their integration to the clients’ Workplace Hub platform. Additionally, the engineer will also assist with maintaining, enhancing, and growing out applications developed by client’s Solutions Engineering Center (SEC) for client’s Workplace Hub platform. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join and work with the latest office technologies and help shape future technologies. As a member of a small team, the successful candidate will be able to play an important role in the evolution of the clients device platforms while working with the latest technologies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
2-3+ years of development experience
Strongest technologies C#, JavaScript, Python, Go, Java
Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, WebSockets, WebRTC, JSON, XML, SOAP
DESIRED SKILLS
Web Servers: Nginx, Apache2
Virtualization: KVM, LXC, Docker, VirtualBox
Operating Systems: Linux (Debian & Ubuntu), Windows Server
Experience building and consuming Web APIs using JSON.
Proficient in modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
