DevOps Engineer for Group DWH Service (f/m/x)
In order to strengthen our delivery capability we are looking for an ambitious and service-oriented DevOps Engineer in the agile-shaped IT Delivery Unit GDWH Group Service. Our unit is responsible for innovations and operations of the group wide business intelligence platform.
Your responsibilities:
- Deploy, automate, orchestrate, maintain and manage the production system GDWH and other related GDWH infrastructure
- Continuously improve and automate ongoing SDLC processes
- Support analysis, design and development of applications for systems delivering high-availability and performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, deliver and operate solutions that meet business needs
- Provide input into solution buy vs build recommendations, when requested
- Communicate development and production issues to project team, vendors and management
Your qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering)
- 3+ years of relevant experience as DevOps Engineer in DWH environment
- Proficient in Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/ CD)
- Automation experience with at least one configuration / deployment / monitoring management system such as Terraform, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Nagios
- Experience with AWS cloud development and operations
- Experience with PostgreSQL development and operations
- Experience working with at least in one of the following languages: Python, Ruby, C, Java, JavaScript
- Experience with API development
- Experience working in agile, fast paced, DevOps environment
- Fluent knowledge of English
Preferred:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Cloud Practitioner or SysOps Administrator or Solution Architect
- Experience with software containerization platform and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
