As a DevSecOps Engineer within our Cloud Platforms team you will be responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and securing our existing cloud infrastructure and processes, and strengthening our security posture while contributing to the solution design and implementation of Transurban’s Cloud Platform.

The impact you’ll have
- You’ll work closely with architects, developers, tech leads and product owners to produce secure, cost effective, and automated cloud solutions
- You’ll create, review, modify and enhance source code where appropriate, delivered for Continuous integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
- You’ll perform security assessments, estimates, and liaise with the Cyber Information and Security function to remediate any potential security risks
- You’ll consult closely with the business and 3rd party vendors to provide subject matter knowledge, assess risk, and solicit feedback on delivery and quality
- You’ll help to maintain Transurban’s PCI compliance across our Cloud platforms
- You’ll actively participate in the development, maintenance and improvement of technology processes, procedures, documentation, standards and methodologies as part of the broader Transurban DevOps and Agile communities of practice
The talents you’ll bring
- Strong understanding and experience of cloud security including IAM, SSL, PCI, and WAF
- Experience in securing infrastructure and applications in AWS
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines within an Agile and DevOps environment
- Experience in one or more of the following languages: Ansible, Python, Bash, Puppet, Maven, and/or Go
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Imperva
- Relevant tertiary education and/or industry certification(s) desired
